This is a log cabin in the woods near Yosemite National Park with the conveniences of Yosemite Westlake Campground and RV Park. The cabin has:
- Fridge
- Microwave
- Toaster
- Coffee pot
- Heater
- Air conditioner
- Four bunk beds with 8 mattresses (NOTE: bring sheets, blankets or sleeping bags and pillows if you want them — or upgrade and we’ll provide). Also note that some people feel it is more manageable in this cabin to only have 6 people and use 2 of the lower beds for putting luggage and similar items.
Outside is a fire pit with rustic wood chairs and a rustic wood table.
Campers typically love:
- How quiet it is here
- The starry skies
- The wild turkeys, deer, variety of birds, squirrels and rabbits that frequent the campground
- The pine, oak, cedar and even giant sequoia trees growing here on the grounds
- 5G AT&T cell service is great here
- WIFI is available near the manager’s unit where there is a picnic table that people use (behind the basketball hoops)
Behind the nearby hot shower/running water toilet building is a deck with a stainless steel kitchen sink with pots and pans and soap and sponges you can use. Please clean and return.
There are a number of shared gas BBQ’s and traditional BBQs throughout the campground.
This is a family campground — so keep in mind that quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am.
NOTE: if you’re wanting to get stoned or party half the night: go elsewhere — most of our campers are hiking in Yosemite the next day and won’t appreciate nor should they have to put up with late night drama.
